A designer bathroom does not necessarily have to be huge: even small spaces can be furnished with taste and style, and transmit a great sense of intimacy and comfort. The important thing is to focus on the environment through an interior design project able to highlight the details, the beauty, as well as the functionality.
The interior design for the bathroom is constantly evolving, most of the time focusing on the need of saving space. Moreover, it gives the perception of a total absence of interruption on the floor. Alternatively, if you don’t like this solution, you can opt for a corner shower, with a round door and a semicircular plate: the essential nature finds its maximal expression in these few but important arrangements.
Opt for a sea-through shower glass, with no profiles or very thin profiles, and choose polycarbonate, in order for the shower to be perceived as less bulky. However, if you love tubs, you can choose among several compact models that can be installed, even if you only have a single meter available. An intelligent use of vertical spaces, in order to leave more space available on the ground, is one of the key strategies to furnish a small and modern bathroom. You should also use a color palette able to ensure brightness as well as a strong style and personality.
In general, when furnishing a small bathroom you should opt for light colors, perhaps with colored details, without forgetting the essential concept of brightness for floors, coatings and walls. More light means a greater perception of space: in other words, the environment will seem bigger and more open.
